A Bcom graduate with a passion for baking, Mehnaaz had worked many long hours in the retail food industry and found her comfort as a stay-at-home mom.
It was by the miracle of love that led her to find her relationship with the macaron when for her daughters first 1st birthday she wished to gift macarons as birthday favours. This led her insatiable desire to master the macaron, a feat she achieved. What began as simple birthday favours and gifts for friends for their special occasions built into an industry of mouth-watering macarons.
Her exquisite macaron towers are now a recognizable feature of most Durban-based weddings and her macarons can be enjoyed at many coffee spots around Durban or ordered privately from Mehnaaz herself.
